Welcome
to Los Cabos
Los Cabos, where the sea meets a desert filled with fascinating
sightseeing attractions: the colonial town of San José and
the bird sanctuary, splendid vistas of the famous offshore stone
arch, pelican rock, sea lions and the haunting song of whales in
a perfect balance of man and nature.
Los
Cabos is world famous for its contrast of natural wonders, excellent
food, some of the world's best deep-sea fishing (for year-round
hauls of Striped Marlin, Dorado, Yellow Fin Tuna, Wahoo, Sea Bass,
Shark and Sail Fish), and the singular tranquility of Los Cabos
town and beautiful golf courses.
Liberate
your senses and enjoy the unforgettable wonders of Santa María
beach. Wend your way down the Cape coast or snorkel in the clear
water. During whale season (January to March) you can watch these
magnificent creatures up close from a boat.
After
a long and arduous journey from Alaska, the gray whale arrives in
the warm waters of their breeding grounds in Ojo de Liebre Lagoon,
San Ignacio and Magdalena Bay. Mexico's Baja California del Sur
bays are the only place in the world where you can admire large
groups of these beautiful creatures up close.
Whale
calves enjoy being touched and are curious, so they frequently come
right up to the boats to be petted.
