Additional
information
Location
Baja California is located in Northwestern Mexico, bordering
on the US States of California and Arizona. This 160 miles
of common border is very important to the two countries. Major
commercial, industrial and tourism ties with the southern
part of California makes it one of the United State's most
dynamic and prosperous areas. It is also one of the major
immigration points from Mexico.
Shopping
The area is a duty free zone or you can bargain at local handicraft
shops for your gifts and souvenirs. Los Cabos also has a wide
variety of merchandise for collectors.
Money
Just like in the rest of the country, Mexico's official currency
is the peso. However, US dollars are readily accepted or you
can exchange your dollars for pesos at banks or money exchange
establishments.
Transportation
Los Cabos has public transportation services that make it
easy to get around. We recommend you contact your IMC representative
for further information.
Clothing
Los Cabos invites you to relax and use casual clothing. Suits
are not needed, however some restaurants do require a jacket
